Ehh...

Well, what can I say, I really don't expect you to finish this. Also, the whole purpose of RPG's is that there is this complicated story that gets you involved, and cool moves and stuff. I can't imagine seeing anything too involved in a flash game, nor any graphically amazing moves. I'm trying to make an RPG now, but my game will be based on action fighting instead of turn-based. The only reason people put up with turn-based is because of the story or cool moves. Otherwise, you're basically just comparing numbers and you're not roleplaying at all. I don't mean to bog you down on your idea, if you finish it by all means do it. But... I'm just so sick of this crap. Another thing, I think people get all excited after created bits and pieces of games, thinking they can take on the world. But then they run into things like collision detection, and they never finish it. Just wait till I blow everyone away with my RPG...

I'm glad there's room for improvement.

I'm thinkin' about making a game like this, and I'm kind of glad this one sucked so I can make my own better. Mine will have Sub-Zero and Ken though, and it will probably be less than 100k. Also, I'm gonna have myself in the game too... But whatever, alright job I suppose, pretty limited. Probably didn't take all that much time, what with only one move, no effort in graphics, no originality, not stopping when you let go of the arrow key. Lame man, lame.

Not worth a 3

Although this is better than some games, I just have this empty feeling about this one. Maybe it's the ripped graphics, the lack of originality, the lack of response from characters being hit. I dunno, alright effort, but not my favorite.

I'm so pissed.

You build up your game to be the best flash game ever, and I truly doubt there will be any game at all, let alone one that is worth anything.

I was all hyped up to play the best RPG ever, and yet I sit here disappointed by another freaking demo. Don't upload anymore demos, not unless there's actually something to show, and if you actually intend to finish it. And for the love of God, let us decide if it's the best flash RPG ever. You saying that just sounds so pathetic.

I'm giving this 0's all around cuz I'm pissed. And yes I can back up my talk. I have my own RPG in the makes at www.angelfire.com/fl4/entropy/ flash/overworld.html.

Awesome

I was thinking about making a moon patrol game myself, so kudos for doing it for me. I think you should put the original music in there though, that was my favorite part! It was pretty hard though, I could only get to about level C. Great programming thouh.

Waiting for the finished version...

I hate when people put out demos... The graphics and everything were really good, but then when I started fighting I punched Frosty right in the face repeatedly and hit him only about 1 out of every 20 tries. What's that all about? Has potential, but God I hate demos.

JeremyLokken responds:

That's why I put a dodging graphic to Rudolph, the next boxer after Frosty. Maybe the next boxing game should have a power meter that prevents the user from holding down the punch keys too long.

Awesome!

The graphics are extremely awesome! I like the little combo move they do. Maybe a little background music too? Sometimes the right kangaroo freezes. Also, after the score reaches 99, it goes to 90 and repeats. Just a few fixes, but overall, very nicely done. My only suggestion is to bring in more animals, that would be absolutely awesome and I would give this game 10's all around!

I would like to see more work from you, and if you want someone to work with, send me an email.

Spectacular!

I really liked the 3d effects on this game! It really needs some sound though. I think the game play is adequate for a flash game. Too many people expect the games here to be all out video games. Some people don't appreciate how hard it is to make great looking graphics with all the constraints in flash. Good job!
