Amazingly fun game!

This is an awesome game. The graphics are great and the gameplay is really fun. Upgrading is awesome, especially when you get your turrets to around level 5 or 6 and you can start one-shotting stuff. There's a good amount of variety with the levels and different weapons. I've only beatent one campaign and I can't wait to play more. Nevermind the guy who said -1 for making a pay-to-play portion. This stuff takes a lot of time to make and I think we should appreciate the fact that we have a free portion at all! If you like it enough, pay a few bucks, and if not don't.

There does seem to be a bug with changing the selected cannon after doing upgrades and starting a level. It's like it won't let me select the last cannon I previously had selected until I click on a different cannon.

Try using the hotkeys, that can circumvent the bug and fix it. But basically what you said. We're having some issues with the .swf encryption- it's breaking a lot of stuff. We'll get on it.

Don't buy it people.

1) This "game engine" is not all that complex at all.

2) It is the exact same game engine from the flash 4 tutorials.

well here's my #1, 2 and 3

1)I know it isn't complex, but it is hard to figure out and takes time to write.
2) I programmed this all today, with no outside help or tutorials. This is not the same engine as the flash 4 tutorials. it was built from scratch for flash 5.
3) I've never seen that game in my life.

I usually get pissed when someone else makes a snake game cuz I made one too a while back. But, this one is different! The programming is pretty good. The sound effects have to go though man. And I didn't really get the whole tail flying off thing... but I guess you had to do something with it when you beat the level. You should put something on there that tells you what level you are on. Oh yeah, I love the enemies! They are very smart. Those dark fish things are vicious! More enemies and bosses too!

yes I know I'm dumb. There must be a movieclip showing lvls. But the second type of creatures were some disappointment for me. They're cowards. I'm going to create cleverer ones with a different AI. I like creating AI-having enemies. Hard scripting and sometimes some AI's may even halt the movie,so It takes a long time. Sorry 4 sounds but i'm a programmer. I don't have programs or the ability for better music. The swf file is really just less than 50k without sounds. I think I'm going to want some professional help.

Waiting for the finished version...

I hate when people put out demos... The graphics and everything were really good, but then when I started fighting I punched Frosty right in the face repeatedly and hit him only about 1 out of every 20 tries. What's that all about? Has potential, but God I hate demos.

That's why I put a dodging graphic to Rudolph, the next boxer after Frosty. Maybe the next boxing game should have a power meter that prevents the user from holding down the punch keys too long.
