I reviewed Car Simulation with the list of bad things about it. Here is my helpful list:
1. Make some buildings. The people come out of the buildings for more realism, and you can't crash into the buildings for more challenge and fun. Building placement could be used for different levels.
2. Slap a cheesy music loop in the background. Also, use a blood curdling scream for the people dieing instead of that weird sound.
3. Do make a bigger play area or something. It is hard enough to maneuver as it is, let alone with the small screen.
4. Put some collision detection on the outside edges. I don't like flying off the screen and not knowing where I am.
5. Use a timer, otherwise the score is pretty meaningless.
You did a good job, and I was relunctant to admit that yesterday. I guess I am getting synical. Well, keep up the good work (although try to minimize the wasted NG space with demos). If you want help and feedback, drop me an email.

Cheap Wars 2

It was something fun to do. The only thing that bothered me was that if I held up and one of the turn buttons, it wouldn't let me fire. I have a suggestion for that. If you are using a button for the key events, try to put the space button on it's own button. This might not help and you might already have that and it might be another problem on my end or something, but just try it.

1) This "game engine" is not all that complex at all.

2) It is the exact same game engine from the flash 4 tutorials.

well here's my #1, 2 and 3

1)I know it isn't complex, but it is hard to figure out and takes time to write.
2) I programmed this all today, with no outside help or tutorials. This is not the same engine as the flash 4 tutorials. it was built from scratch for flash 5.
3) I've never seen that game in my life.

A different 'Snake'

"Very Nice!"

I usually get pissed when someone else makes a snake game cuz I made one too a while back. But, this one is different! The programming is pretty good. The sound effects have to go though man. And I didn't really get the whole tail flying off thing... but I guess you had to do something with it when you beat the level. You should put something on there that tells you what level you are on. Oh yeah, I love the enemies! They are very smart. Those dark fish things are vicious! More enemies and bosses too!

yes I know I'm dumb. There must be a movieclip showing lvls. But the second type of creatures were some disappointment for me. They're cowards. I'm going to create cleverer ones with a different AI. I like creating AI-having enemies. Hard scripting and sometimes some AI's may even halt the movie,so It takes a long time. Sorry 4 sounds but i'm a programmer. I don't have programs or the ability for better music. The swf file is really just less than 50k without sounds. I think I'm going to want some professional help.

How's that working out for you, being clever? You really should put a timer on there though, so you can compete and get better scores and stuff. I can hit most of them though if I just keep clicking as fast as I can near the johnsons.

Life is meaningless

"Good stuff."

I liked this movie a lot. I agree with everything that was said. Life is meaningless without an afterlife. Unfortunately, that doesn't mean that an afterlife does indeed exist. There is no universal constant that says life has to have a meaning. The want of something doesn't necessitate it's existance either. Just a little philosophical note for everyone.
